Stanley KubrixXx

Stanley KubrixXx has been surrounded by music since birth. His father was an avid guitar player, and as soon as Stanley was physically able he too was strumming a six string. At the age of 14 Stanley received his first digital multi-track recorder. Lacking access to an actual drum-set, he resorted to using cheesy synthetic drum sounds from a budget keyboard, inciting ridicule from his peers. Eventually he began playing with other musicians and utilizing acoustic drum-sets.

Stanley dabbled in multiple genres, with the majority of his efforts focused on writing and performing rock music with childhood friends. However, the formative years spent solitarily hunched over an electronic recording device, cluelessly experimenting with recording loops out of whatever sounds he could wrangle out of found instruments always loomed over him. While attending college Stanley purchased his first sampler / beat machine and began experimenting with hip-hop music. In the short time since, Stanley has had the good fortune to collaborate with Grammy nominated rap artist Young Chris on his '30 Days 30 Verses' mixtape as well as having music featured on the popular online music publication Pitchfork.

Stanley looks forward to collaborating with others in bringing their musical visions to life. Stanley dreams of one day composing soundtracks for video games and pornographic videos.
