Fresh from Miami, three young artists are putting their creative style & musical talents together in a unique way that complements each others energy. Jase, City, and Stephie Lecor have joined forces to form the group Kulture Shock and is poised to set the industry on fire. To hear the group in person one could easily attest to their talent but to get a better perspective of how unlikely their union is, all one has to do is take a track back in time before all three united.
Jase and City learned while performing together that eventually they would reach a plateau as a duo. Instead of focusing on performing they put there talents towards song writing & collaborating with others. After successfully landing a track entitled “Story of my life” with Interscope Records newly signed rapper Billy Blue,ft Akon as well as ‘Married to the Streets’ with New York Mc French Montana, and ‘Test drive’ for Atlantic Records artist Pleasure P.” They Duo teamed up with Stephie Lecor a Miami native who had just wrapped the Van Halen nationwide tour, as back up singer for opening act Ky-Mani Marley & was actively moving forward with her musical aspirations. This songstress would be the missing piece to the group in the eyes of Poe Boy's President Big Chuck.
Kulture Shock has been taking Miami by storm the past two years while developing there sound and preforming at the who's who of south Florida events! Taking stage along side Major artist like Flo' Rida as the featured act for DJ Affects Birthday Bash and at the notorious Hot Spot’ Club Passions of Hard Rock Casino Halloween party for both 2009 & 2010. This lead them to be the featured artist at the infamous showcase "Next to Blow Industry Mixer" on South Beach.This animated trio as opened for other acts such as the New Boyz, Pitbull, Mia Martina, Jeremiah, Sean Kingston, Waka Flocka and many more. Since their performance aired on "NBC Today Show" & "NBC Good Morning South Florida" Kulture Shock has continued to delight fans at various music festivals, charity events and Fashion Shows including the huge "Fashion Meets Music" and "Calle Ocho Festival". The group has rocked many crowds in Miami's hottest night clubs Mansion, Club Bed & Nocturnal which lead to radio play on Y'100, Power 96 & 99 Jamz to MTV & VH1 airing there very first music video "These Are The Times". The group recently inked a joint venture deal with France based record label Artop/universal to release there debut single “The way you move” in sept of 2011.
