he music is melodic, emotional(not emo), and has a raw energy to it. It captures that NYC tone in the same way as bands like Interpol and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Misfits. It is reminiscent of Bauhaus, but remains original and fresh.

Biography

Kult Xero is an alternative, indie-rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Their sound is dark, energetic, and melodic. With melancholy, dramatic, and enchanting lyrics sung by charismatic frontman Michael Arcangel’s resonating, soulful voice, paired with rocked-out but danceable drumbeats, and driving rhythm guitar, it feels like it’s on the outer edges of ecstasy and sanity. The songs themselves are a perfect mix of being edgy and catchy, and most importantly the music comes from an honest place. Kult Xero is expression over perfection, and makes music that people can relate and move to, rather than predictable, over-produced, homogenized, or commercial music. Kult Xero brings back the concept of what “Alternative” music was originally intended for, and that is being the alternative, for music fans that want something fresh, for those that are sick of what MTV and pop culture have been shoving in their faces, and those that want to have their generation’s musical renaissance or revolution. Kult Xero is a band that brings a vibe to this current musical age, what bands and artists such as Nirvana, Jeff Buckley, and Joy Division brought to theirs.
