Kumuchi are songwriter/vocalist Gillian Coyle and musician/producer Dave Watkin.
More about Gillian:
Gillian is not just a vocalist, but a trained dancer, saxophonist and songwriter. She is also a fully qualified fitness instructor. When not busy working in the studio, you will usually find her teaching classes in several gyms around Liverpool! With all her talent and experience, Gillian is as comfortable performing on stage as she is laying down vocals in the studio. With her distinctive soft and haunting vocals, she enhances the already unmistakable sound of Kumuchi.
More about Dave:
Dave began playing piano at the tender age of 7, but shocked everyone when he started writing his own songs, and recording them on an old Atari computer system. Technology has since moved on, and thankfully Dave has too. As well as writing/producing for Kumuchi, he is involved with several other projects, including - 'Ultrasun' (a collaboration with Australia singer/songwriter Katie Michaelson) and a solo project (D'Mau) - producing funky/electro & commercial house music. He has also produced many remixes for other artists, including Ian Van Dahl, Lost Witness & Paradise.
Dave and Gillian are 2 of the most ambitious, determined and talented people you are ever likely to meet. They are eager to travel and get their music heard around the world. They are not shy of hard work and relish all new challenges that come their way.
