Kunneck

Two brothers, Kenny and Keith Bryant, who both had a niche for rapping decided to bring it together and create the Kunneck. 'We established the name maybe 3 tracks into the album...' says the older sibling K.G. 'The significance in the name is that the Kunneck is the listener's connection to the streets of Chicago; where we live, how we see it, and what we experience.' Kunneck soon teamed up with Quickdraw Productions located in Gary, IN. It was with Quickdraw that their 1st album, 'Renowned Sound' was done. 'I was looking for a studio to record in and they were looking for a rap artist to sign...the rest is history' explains K.G. Quickdraw provided the beats for the album and unitied the brothers with local artists Camille and Arsonist who are featured on the album. K.B and K.G. wrote all the songs on the album. Their style is a mix of hip hop and gangsta rap which is evident on the album. 'Renowned Sound' definitely has something for everyone from the street savvy, positive track 'Stop The Violence' to the club bangin' joint, 'Move Dat Shake Dat.' The energy of 'Move Dat Shake Dat' is very contagious. 'This is a mandatory club joint! It’s aimed at the ladies who come into the club that think they are too pretty or dressed too cold to move to the grove of things. They gots to move dat and shake dat!' There is no doubt that the ladies will be movin' and shakin' to this joint. From K.B.; the energetic one that has a stage presence that won't stop, to K.G.; the laid back one with the lyrics that keep on coming, these boys are coming hard and they aren't letting anything or anyone hold them back. They are versatile with their style and they have a strong commitment to their music; some consider that to be a genuine asset and a good start to a long, successful career.
