Bio
Kurt Maire is a northern Californian singer/songwriter whose combination of intricate guitar riffs with laid-back vocals sets him apart from other singer/songwriters. Many compare his voice to the late Elliot Smith or to Paul Simon, but his acoustic guitar riffs are distinctive. His music can best be classified as acoustic/rock but there are shades of punk, folk, and reggae in several of his songs. He has played acoustic gigs at local bars and clubs in Northern California and Salt Lake City for the past several years and continues to build a fan base.
