Kwaj considers himself the definition of old school hip hop. From the midwest comes a breath of fresh air for fans of underground. With a heavy focus on old school sound and aesthetic, he’s a rhyme traveler from the golden era stuck in the 21st century. On a mission to remind you of a better time, Kwaj’s wordplay and cadence feel like a freestyle until you realize you’d be pressed to hear a smoother more calculated flow.
Currently, Kwaj is focused on developing his debut mixtape which he plans to release in summer of 2018. In the meantime look out for collabs with members of his hip-hop collective, “Foreknowledge,” of which he has been a member since early 2016.
