Bio

Critics are saying--

"enchanting"
"outrageously splendiferous",
"unusually sensuous"
"the quintessential coffee shop folk singer sound."

"Lost Song of the Dolphin" is getting rave reviews and conjures the sensuous traditions of Loreena McKennitt and Jane Siberry.

Recently Released CD's--

"INTO"
Intimate yet transcendent, “INTO" gives every mystic, dyslexic, and pirate an alleyoop I love you.

“WILD LULLABYES”
Sensuous, ethereal, mythic, one finds pure revery of pine residue on fingertip. A magical door for orphaned birds, tired mama's, moodling students, mermaid, dryad, saffron goddess, and all who need to take back their lives.

Award-winning singer composer Kyane Howland takes a whimsical yet searing look at love and it's divine piracy. Songs were magpie-eyed from Mexico, backpockets, pyschiatric units, hidden rivers, black cats in heat, healing machines of outsider artists like emery bladgon, from under umbrellas, whipperwhirls, and Anne Sexton's poetry whispered at three a.m.

Kyane has appeared on Public Radio, NYC, Venetian Gondola Boats, Theaters, Cafes, Festivals, Universities, Museums, Hospitals, Schools, Dolphin Pods, and is famous as Sheboygan's "singing nurse". She teaches groundbreaking technique at LakeMusic Studios.
