Bio
Kye TaRon Harris, better known as Kye, was born in Watertown, New York December 14th, 1993. He fell in love with music at a very young age due to his mother and father playing slow jams and old school music much of the time. His inspiration came from listening and watching, rapper and Freestyle King Cassidy. With his burning desire and need for music, he felt that Cassidy would be the artist to follow and emulate. However, as Kye got older, he was influenced by artists such as Nas, J.Cole, Big K.R.I.T, Kendrick Lamar, Wale, and Andre 3000. These hip-hop artists mentioned soon became the push for Kye to follow his dreams. Kye is now studying at the renowned institution known as Morehouse College. His major is CTEMS (Cinema-Television Emerging Media Studies) with a minor in Journalism. Kye is from Killeen, Texas. Kye has performed at some places in Texas, even during SXSW. His style resembles a real MC with bone-chilling lyrics that will rock your soul to the core.
