"New Artist: @KylaRaeMusic “Feet Off The Floor”"

I looove finding new artist and this one in particular came right on time for FRIDAY. Texas native Kyla Rae’s debut Single “Feet Off The Floor” is definitely “Pre Gaming” material. I can’t wait to see what’s next for this 18 year old Singer. Let me know you guys thoughts on Kyla Rae! - Ruba's World

Still working on that hot first release.

If you ask KylaRae, she will definitely say that it can.

KylaRae is an 18-year-old multi-talented singer/actor with the desire to have her music heard by fans across the world. She wants to have a positive impact on the lives of her fans, just like music has had a positive impact on her life.

Growing up in Keller, Texas, KylaRae has been singing and entertaining since the time she could talk. Since she was born, KylaRae was always surrounded by different genres of music, from classic rock to pop and even country. When she was around 3 years old, she began putting on wigs and outfits to sing and entertain friends and family. It was not uncommon to see her standing on the table singing and dancing to the Spice Girls or Shania Twain.

Singing to Spice Girls and Shania later led Kyla to audition at Ohlook for her first play, The Wizard of Oz, and she got the part of the Cowardly Lion. KylaRae continued to act in two to three plays per year at Ohlook for the next 8 years. Some of her favorite parts were Annie in Annie, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Mike Teavee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Carmen in Fame.

KylaRae was discovered singing and mopping the floor at the restaurant where she works. By chance, Jon-John Robinson and his wife Crystal were eating and overheard her. After working as a producer with Babyface for several years and receiving two Grammy awards, Jon-John moved to Texas and started his own label, Box Car Digital. KylaRae signed with Jon-John’s label after several meetings with him. Per Jon-John, “KylaRae is a very determined artist who moves against the current and that is what drew me to her. Soon, the world will get to see what I see in her.”
