Kyle Shawn is a rising songwriter & lyricist hailing from the nation's capital, Washington, DC, whose sonic purpose is to share the perspective of his own life and that of those around with precision clarity. His hip-hop oriented sound is often infused with a heavy influence of live instrumentation and jazz but his flow and content matter is always vast, recreated & potent. As a whole, Kyle Shawn looks to paint the most captivating portrait of his position on the issues that we all face daily, yet in a way that the listener can most vividly depict how he approaches & ultimately overcomes them so that he may continuously create and share more.
