Now living in Riverview NB, Kyle's roots lie in the dusty potato fields of New Denmark NB where he was born and raised on his Grandfather's farm, while being brought up on a healthy dose of old time country.
Kyle's music is mostly of personal experience. It talks of the down fall in the farming industry, and what its like to be up rooted from all that you know, and move away with only a hope and a prayer of finding a better life where ever the road may lead you. Some songs tell tales influenced by others that he has met, and some of long forgotten legends such as the bonus track of the album entitled "Oak Island Gold". Influenced by artist such as Matt Minglewood, Kris Kristofferson, Steve Earle and also many current local canadian east coast singer-songwriters.
