Kylie Price Bio
Kylie Ann Price is a force to be reckoned with.
At only 19 years of age this young songstress has already established herself as one of New Zealand’s premier break out talents.
She most recently walked away Over All Winner at the Gold Guitar Awards for 2012. Her own song “A Man I Know”, written for her father, took out the coveted prize for Original Song.
Kylie also laid claim to the Senior Country Rock, Gospel, Traditional and NZ Composition sections of the competition.
A finalist for the NZ Horizon Award at the 2012 New Zealand Country Music Awards, Kylie has one hand firmly holding onto the country music heartstrings. However, her unique and versatile voice offers her the freedom to reach out for any musical genre she may choose in the future.
Kylie is an accomplished songwriter and musician in her own right, fully capable of supporting herself with technically outstanding guitar skills and an innate sense of rhythm.
Experienced in musical theatre and dramatic production, Kylie has the ability to sing and move simultaneously. She exudes confidence on stage yet maintains a sense of vulnerability which is palpable, especially when she performs her original songs.
