Bio
Kyoshi make vibrant and genuine music, full of energy and passion but void of pretension. They know that they offer a believable alternative to the current batch of UK guitar bands.
The bold, brash and beautiful vocal tones belong to Leanne King (20) who is joined by her brother Dan (23) on guitars and their childhood friends, Ben Moore (24) and Chrs Curtis (24) on drums and bass.
After forming in Leicester in 2004, they have spent 18 months living together in North London and have honed a classic, original and honest sound that blends the contemporary with the timeless. During this time they have played loads of gigs and generated an enthusiastic fanbase in London. They have headlined the Mayfly Festival in 2007 and also won the North London and South of England heats of O'Neills Unsigned. In 2008 they recorded with the top 10 production team, Animal Farm and produced their current demo.
