The hip-hop rap world is at a crossroads and the question is, are you ready for the growth of hip-hop? Ready or not, North Carolina’s hip-hop/rap artist “Lace” is about to explode onto the music map. The new face of North Carolina’s hip-hop/rap scene has swag, energy, and a true-to-life style of flow that’s like no other. “Lace” is not only the future of North Carolina’s hip-hop scene; but he’s the greatest hope for the future of southern hip-hop.

Born January 5th 1988 in a small town in Franklin county, North Carolina, Nate Jones (Lace) grew up the youngest of three siblings in a single parent household. In a city surrounded by drugs, violence, and poverty; there are limited opportunity for success. Quickly becoming “a product of his environment,” Nate “Lace” Jones found himself often in sticky situations and brushing with law enforcement. Witnessing his life headed down the wrong path “Lace” began to look at himself and decide he wanted the most out of life!
Already having a love for music as well as hip-hop since a young age, “lace” began to write lyrics and soon learned how to put life’s “joys and pains” into song format. At the young age of 21 Nate “Lace” Jones started Biltmore Entertainment and begun a new path in the music business. While starting (BM)Ent. He was introduced to one of Carolina’s top producers “Manifest” a former CMA (Carolina Music Awards) “producer of the year” winner. Lace’s current mix tape CD “Streets On Heat” vol. 1 is hosted and co-produced by the 2009 CMA Producer of the Year (Manifest). “Streets On Heat vol. 1” features guest appearances from BM Ent’s on D-Swift, GDA’s artists Hugg-E Bear and Paradox, as well as former CMA’s “artist of the year” GDA’s head honcho Derty Den.
Through local store distribution and independent (BM ENT) street promotion, “Street On Heat vol. 1”and its’ mixtape single “BRING IT BACK” has gained the respect of his(lace) city (Franklin Co) in a short amount of time and is on a relentless move to much larger opportunities !
