Gettin Over You

Written By: Lacey D Johnston

It wasn't very long ago that I had made up my mind.
I threw my hand into the air, said "boy your done waisting my time".
Now I'm sittin here all by myself just wonderin what to do
There is one thing that's been on my mind and that's gettin over you.

Now I'm movin on all by myself forgettin about you
not missin all the heartache that you gladly put me through
Your lyin, cheatin, your mistreatin is catching up with you
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
Im gettin over you

I dont know why I even stayed
Love can play some crazy games
Im lookin back at my mistakes
now listen to what I'm gonna say

Im movin on all by myself forgettin about you
not missin all the heartache that you gladly put me through
your lyin, cheatin, your mistreatin is catching up with you
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
Im gettin over you

Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye I'm gettin over you

Jet Plane

Written By: Lacey D Johnston

I'm flyin out on a jet plane, headed for the south
I'll be singing at a honky tonk old farm hands know about
I've been told the stage is small and worn, there's one thing on my mind
Playin hard at that honky tonk until it's closing time

I wanna line dance in a crowd
Howl at the moon
throw a couple cold one's back get into a rockabilly groove
hangin with the country folks, feelin right at home
with my old guitar in their country bar, we'll do it all night long

I'm here and I'm unloading yeah, the line is out the door
they wanna here some country
that's what they came here for
I'm tuning up my guitar
ready to play all night
let's get this party started
my band will play just right

To line dance in a crowd
howl at the moon
throw a couple cold one's back
get into a rockabilly grove
hangin with the country folk's feelin right at home
with my old guitar in their country bar, we're gonna do it all night long

Bridge

The crowd is gettin wild, hey I'll buy the bar a round
hoping that them cowboys will be coming into town
the ladies claim their men out here before the night is through
drag em' out to the dance floor
do what they came to do

Line dance in a crowd
howl at the moon
throw a couple cold one's back
get into a rockabilly groove
hangin with the country folk's
feelin right at home
with my old guitar in their country bar, we're gonna do it all night long

Line dance in a crowd
howl at the moon
throw a couple cold one's back
get into a rockabilly groove
hangin with the country folk's
feelin right at home
with my old guitar in their country bar, we're gonna do it all night long

We're gonna do it all night long
