Bio
Lacie Carpenter is an eclectic Americana artist born and raised Texas and now based in Nashville, TN. Award-winning fiddler, she has traveled world-wide performing in concerts halls, for the Arch-Bishop and Prime Misister of Austria, and even did a 10-month stent in Ireland teaching and performing. Lacie has a classical music background but her heart is in every other genre possible. She is also an award-winning songwriter, folk vocalist, and author. As a touring artist, she's performed with hit songwriter, Jerry Vandiver (Tim McGraw, Oakridge Boys) and Jimmy Fortune. Lacie is an active session musician in Texas and Tennessee.
She spent many of her performing years in 12 symphonies, country and bluegrass bands, house bands for music revues, and inside a studio playing music for others. Now, she is going out on her own. A little daunting but very exciting! It can include original music, wild fiddle tunes, and cover songs from many genres.
For a more laid back audience-such as listening rooms and house concerts, she will tell her gyspy stories and tell you all about the songs she has written. Come go on a journey with Lacie Carpenter!
