I am a folk artist, singer and songwriter, inspired by the healing God has done in my life. My lyrics are vulnerable, passionate, honest and directed at touching the heart by facing it's deep fears. They are a gift to me. What is given I choose to share, which in turn causes me to face my fears.

Biography

I was raised on a dairy farm in Maine and by default I am a hard worker. In my life I have studied music, art, religion, the bible and now the science of nursing. I will graduate this fall 2012 with RN stamped behind my name and thus will enter in to a new world where I will have much responsibility. I have faced many fears on this journey I am on. Fears that used to live my life for me. Now I live in the knowledge that I am free in Jesus to simply be me.
My goals in life are not to be a musician or a nurse or whatever...you fill in the blank. My goal is to be who Jesus created me to be and to use the talents he has given me to pass on His love.
This is not a sales pitch, I am not a product nor is my music. I will tell you this...I simply love to sing and write and share what Jesus has done in my life. Songs to me are an art form and they mean to each person something different. They can minister in so many different ways. I sing them so God can use them however He desires.
I don't have a fancy recording or a CD, just a few songs punched out with the help of some friends who have encouraged me. My past influences have been my mother, who taught me to sing and play the guitar. Other influences have been Jewel, Sarah Mclachlan, Jennifer Knapp, Sarah Groves and Sean Colvin.
