Bio

Just another typical
Los Angeles love story. Boy needs band, boy searches Craigslist, boy meets boy,
and hijinks ensue.

Neema Rustin and
Scott Lee met for the first time at Jake's in Old Town Pasadena on January
17th, 2015, after Scott responded to Neema's Craigslist ad. Both are LA
natives. They started jamming together at Bedrock Rehearsal Studios in Echo
Park and at their first session, they wrote a song and felt the chemistry. They
would continue to practice at Bedrock every week and go to Good Times at Davey
Wayne's afterward to talk music and get better acquainted. After a few months,
they started playing shows at the famous Redwood Bar in downtown LA with help
from In Fuzz We Trust. They played more shows at the Redwood and started
playing other shows at places like the Maui Sugar Mill Saloon in Tarzana and
SOMA in San Diego.

Every practice, they
would write 2 or 3 new songs from scratch until they had a plethora of songs to
choose from. They contacted their friends at Big Bad Sound LA and started
booking recording sessions. In September of 2016, recordings for their first EP
began. Over the next few months leading to the EP release, there would be
several changes in Lady Zephyr's lineup. Different bass players came and went,
a 2nd guitarist joined and then departed, and a keys player was part of the
band for a while. Neema and Scott kept going to the recording studio getting
the EP done and on February 10th, 2017, it was finally released as 'Hello
World'.

Today, gigs are
still being rocked and songs written, all while looking for more soldiers to
join their fight. Over twenty songs are ready to be recorded this year for more
upcoming releases but they haven't stopped writing.

Their music has been
played on AM710's Mason and Ireland show, EGH Radio, and Lonely Oak Radio.

Lady Zephyr is
currently unsigned and is seeking representation.
