Bio
Music has always been a powerful influence in my life. Started with my mom and dad, who could drop a cold blues number at the drop of a dime. Also, Anita Baker, Teena Marie and Natalie Cole and James Brown have influenced her style along with a sprinkle of her own originality. She and her band like to bring to their audiences songs that they probably had never gotten a chance to hear, all done with an interactive style that leaves them wanting more.
At a very early age, I was offered the chance to 'go professional' but I knew I wasn't ready. I deferred this dream until after I had raised my family and was free to fly. I am passionate about making my audience feel something when they come to any Lady Coco & Rhythm in Black performance!
My motto is "It's All Good!" and I mean it!
