Derek LaFountain is a Louisville based and Louisville born blues, soul and electronic musician. His music spans many genres and breaks many rules with its blend of soulful, funky and bluesy sounds with electronic influences.  LaFountain accents his well developed guitar technique, vocal style and songwriting ablility with a unique form of electronic music production that creates a style of music that is truly unique.  LaFountain has quickly made a name for himself in the Louisville music scene and the surrounding regions. Lafountain has shared the stage with the likes of  many national touring acts such as The Werks, James McMurtry, The Rumpke Mountain Boys.
