Bio

Hailing from the Philadelphia suburbs of North Wales and Hatfield, Lake Dragger is comprised of Matt Tartaglia (vocals), Kory Nolen (guitar), Eddie Reese (vocals/bass), Joe Feher (guitar), and John Feher (drums). When they're not working their asses off or going to school, they like to come together and make some music to blow off steam. Lake Dragger is all about brotherhood, which can be taken quite literally. Joe and John are brothers, and Matt and Kory are half brothers. And Eddie, well him and Matt have been friends since first grade, so you could say they're brothers from another mother. Eddie and Matt have been playing together since they picked up their instruments, going all the way back to the days of junior high. Joe joined their crew in high school and the three haven't stopped playing together ever since. Still in high school, Kory and John add a fresh perspective to the formula.

Music genres get more and more vague each year and new fake ones are constantly being made up. Lake Dragger falls into that ambiguous style of post-hardcore, drawing on influences from skramz, hardcore, punk, post-rock, and indie. The vocal delivery is reminiscent of hardcore band Defeater in the screams and bands like mewithouYou and La Dispute in the aggressive spoken word passages. The riffs range from twinkly melodies, to fast punk sections, to droning tremolo picking. Song structures rely heavily on varied sections and brooding crescendos. John keeps it all together with his tight drumming, throwing in some of the craziest fills to make you cream your pants.
