LAMECK grows up in Brazil, between Acari and Sao Paulo, where he lives up to the standards of mixed cultures.

He feels the urge for music at the age of 11. His mom is choir director at the church where his father preaches.

Taking example on the musicians of Engenheiros-Do Hawaï and Paralamas-Do Sucesso, guitar comes naturally as his favorite instrument. Autodidact, LAMECK learns how to play classic guitar then quenches his thirst of knowledge, at the Villa Lobos conservatoire. LAMECK begins by playing with, Metropole, a band with consisting of his brother and friends. They do all the gigs they can in Sao Paulo, Brazil musical crossroad. This is when, he gets thrilled by Sao Bernardo Campos musicians (instrumental Brazilian music), who will leave an indisputable influence on his musical identity. Aged 24, quick stop over in Portugal; the young guitarist decides to settle in France. He applies for musicology at the Faculté de Paris 8 University where he meets students ready to discover his universe. The encounter with bass player Natallino Neto, who becomes his friend, is critical. The bassist encourages him to put his songs on track.
His music, which springs from samba and African rhythms, belongs to Brazilian popular music called MPB.
LAMECK prepares his debut album, signed by the independent label Little Genius Entertainment, of which release is due in 2006. LAMECK’s creativity, uniqueness, sensitivity and musicality couldn’t leave you indifferent.
