Lamesa is a Songwriter with BMI she is from Malakoff,TX. She now resides in Dallas,TX with her husband and two children.She's been writing for 9 years .Her style is very versatile and she can write all genres.Lamesa has written songs in several genres such as Country,R&B,Gospel and Pop. Lamesa has worked with several artist,Vernon Wallace of the group formerly known as “Funky Brewster” in the 80’s .She also worked with Paramount Song and Empire Music Co.She wrote a song with Efrem Gaio from Italy who is also a musician and performs with different bands all over Italy and songwriter Emily Bowerman from New York. Lamesa received awards from Song of the Year in the Runner Up and Honorable Mention categories.Lamesa wants to write with and for artist all over the world.She is looking for artist in all genres to record her songs on their album.She wants her songs to touch people whether it brings a smile to their face or a tear to their eyes.Lamesa received second place in the Pepsi Refresh Contest on 97.9 The BeatDFW for freshest new music in the DFW metroplex.Lamesa's freshman album is on CD Baby called "About to Blow Up".
