Bio
La Méthode, created in 2001, is a young hip hop band from Marseille composed of 2 Mcs: Mister B.za, and K-méléon and 1 DJ: DJ Daz.
From the get-go the band has developed an atypical style, far from the clichés of the street rap. Their positive hip hop is rooted in performance, humour and a kind of crazy spirit.
La Méthodes sound and style are based on surprising vocal techniques and original compositions, opening the space of dark aquatic basses, full of relief and nuances. They get their inspiration from American artists such as Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, Redman...
La Méthode was mainly revealed during live performances build around dance and light.
Two years in a row (2003 & 2004) the band won the regional contest "Planète jeunes", and « Class'EuRock » in 2007 which lead them to appear on major stages and do first parts for famous international bands like DMX or Puppetmastaz.
During live shows, Dj Daz (I am) or Dj Faze (Sat) accompany la Méthode on turntables.
In may 2009 Saba (Marseille) produced their first CD, a street album gathering 17 original titles called « 99 points du acké » and featuring artists such as Dj Vadim, RPZ, Kill Foster.
