"SleazeGrinder"

"Lamont is a power-trio in every sense of the word, a three-man gang of scorch and muscle that ladles on the swagger like lumpy gravy, and has absolutely no qualms with being certifiably, shamelessly, 110% rock and fucking roll..." - www.SleazeGrinder.com

"Tangerine Magazine"

"Thank God for real, live wire, ass stomping rock. Lamont is an adrenaline driven dynamo, sweat soaked head on collision smashup, weapon of sonic mass destruction. This must be what God listens to when He gets naked..."

"Lillipop Magazine"

"Forget about all those Swedish rock bands invading these shores, Lamont hails from Massachusetts, and this trio has more rock 'n' roll coursing through their veins than The Hives and The Vines combined..."

"StonerRock.com"

"Lamont is one of those upbeat bands that has you bobbing your head and throwing your fist in agreeance within the first minute upon spinning the CD. It's rock and roll hard edged stuff to say the least..." - www.stonerrock.com

"Brave Words"

"For those bored with the slow boil of stoner rock, Lamont has the cure...this is white-hot, funky, nasty southern-injected metal like smart Nashville Pussy or the heaviest Foghat, Rick Derringer, Aerosmith, Pat Travers and Mountain songs, sent through a garage punk sausage grinder..." - www.bravewords.com

"Ear Pollution"

"The power trio play like Nebula with a death wish, the Supersuckers on steroids, the Reverend Horton Heat after a lengthy stretch of hard time..." - www.earpollution.com

Bio

From the bars of Boston via the truckstops of Johnson City, TN, guitarist/vocalist Pete Knipfing unleashes razor sharp riffage accompanied by the earth heavy pulse of bassist Jase Forney and the rudiment battery of Todd Bowman on drums. Revival-show like parables of Hellhounds, Sin City and many women of ill repute inhabit the musical mythology of the band’s songs.

Lamont has several compilation spots under their belt as well as three full-length albums in release. Bands they have toured with include Orange Goblin, Rev. Horton Heat, Jucifer, The Cutthroats9, Scissorfight, Bottom, Honky, Alabama Thunderpussy, Unsane, Players Club and Gang Green.

Their music has been featured on ESPN and ESPN 2 X Games and MTV's Most Extreme Sports Moments. Their single "Hotwire" is featured on Tony Hawk's Underground T.H.U.G. by Activision. The track was also used in the Escape From New Jersey national television ad campaign for Tony Hawk's T.H.U.G and has been in regular rotation on Boston radio station WFNX.

Lamont averages 60+ shows per year, locally and nationally, and will keep riding it 'till the wheels fall off...
