Bio
Lance LaPage's music pays homage to the sincerity of George Harrison, the poetic earnestness of Bob Dylan and the lyrical honesty of Gord Downie. On New Years eve of 2005, cellist Will Crocco met singer-songwriter Lance LaPage and formed an instant musical connection. Throughout the following years the duo crafted a style uncharacteristic of our era, using traditional instruments to seamlessly blend classical textures with clairvoyant songwriting and dynamics. Having shared the stage with such artists as Andrew Hunter, Halifax's Audible Color, and Fredericton's David Wilkins, Lance LaPage & William Crocco's live performance is an intimate and intense sonic wave that leaves the listener engaged and excited. During the bleak winter months of 2009 they began recording their debut album entitled "Once Upon a Time", which embodies a wide array of styles ranging from contemporary folk to ambient acoustic pop, and uptempo rockabilly. The album is currently set to release in the fall of 2010.
