Our music is a celebration and revival of Sixties' folk-rock and psychedelia as exemplified by the styles of The Byrds, The Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, Love (Arthur Lee), Jimi Hendrix, Bee Gees, and Masters Apprentices, etc.

The Thymes has spent many years refining the presentation of their unique style that borrows mainly from 1960s psychedelia and folk-rock. Think of The Byrds "Eight Miles High", Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" and Jimi Hendrix's "Manic Depression" all rolled into one and you have The Thymes. But people hear many things when they listen to The Thymes: Some hear hints of the Seattle sound, others hear the folk influences of Donovan. Some even hear strong echoes of The Yardbirds, The Monkees, The Who, The Kinks, and even Tony Hatch!

Only Thing

Written By: Lance Storm

Only thing I can find,
Seems a waste of my time.

Girl, in your room you've got nothing but gloom on your mind.
I say, in your room you've got nothing but gloom on your mind.

The small clock on the shelf,
Keeps time for no one else.

Girl, will your pray when there's nothing to say?
I say, will you pray when there's nothing to say for yourself?
