WIMS Count Over: Blind Willy In Control
The results have been tabulated, and Blind Willy completed their sweeping power grab of WIMS radio on Saturday night and quickly moved from bitter campaign rhetoric to pledges to find common ground with other Michigan City artists when possible.
Blind Willy sealed control of Local 1420 by taking a 38% majority in the WIMS poll with the collaborative efforts of Ken E Ken and Killa K holding off the competition for second in a race so close it almost required a recount.
"The election's over. It's time for a change," WIMS imagined Blind Willy may have said. "It's time for bipartisanship, it's time for rap, rock, acoustic and it's a time for funkin the junk in yo bootty ."
We will be hearing Blind Willy play a couple of songs on THIS Saturday night at 8pm and we will also hear the song Wooooow by Killa K and Ken E Ken. Thanks to everyone who participated in voting...both in this ridiculous election and the legitimate one that I read about somewhere in the newspaper.

LANCIE D HAS BEEN PERFORMING AS A SOLO ARTIST AND IN ENSEMBLES FOR WELL OVER TEN YEARS. HE MIXES HIS SOUL FILLED BLUESY POP ORIGINALS WITH LOTS OF CROWD PLEASING COVERS RANGING FROM VAN MORRISON, STEELY DAN, STEVE MILLER, BOB MARLEY AND MANY OTHERS. I HAVE YET TO EVER LEAVE A GIG WITHOUT ADDING AT LEAST 20 PEOPLE TO MY MAILING LIST OF OVER 1000 FANS. IN ADDITION I ALWAYS GIVE OUT SEVERAL FREE PIECES OF MERCHANDISE AT EVERY SHOW!!!!!!! THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO MAKE NEW CONNECTIONS WITH THE AUDIENCE AND TO HELP GET THEM INVOLVED IN THE SHOW.
