"Simply Amazing"

In my quest to find new music I discovered the album the low ceiling by RHETORIC TUESDAY. From the opening notes of their album I knew that this band was special. It had little bits and pieces that reminded me of my favorite band the Counting Crows as well as some other artists. Yet it still sounded fresh and original. Since receiving the album in the mail it has been on repeat and has not left my CD player. I can guarantee that this band will be going places. If it were up to me I would sign them on the spot. Rather then go on and on about how amazing and talented this band is I will let the music do the rest of the talking. - Eric Ruth

"An amazing debut from an up and coming band"

I was looking through CDBaby, much like I normally do, looking for that one sound. When I stumbled upon Rhetoric Tuesday, I couldnt believe what I had found. This blending of lyrical and acoustic rock was exactly what Ive been looking for all this time. This CD manages to take you on a lyrical journey through the experiences of the artist, and their talent both vocally and musically places you in the midst of their troubles. I cant get these songs out of my CD player or out of my head. I simply cant wait till their next CD. Please make it soon, and make it longer than this one!! And most of all, keep up the good work. - Jason

Bio

The Lander members are combining pasts in creating a clean signature of sound. The group ranges from professional to amateur- rock n roll to orchestra- electric to acoustic. The Portland based band is off to a burly start in 2006 and expanding its horizons locally, as well as, nationally.

Born in Lander, Wyoming, singer/songwriter Tyler Stenson (25), presents his “soulfully delivered, articulate lyrics” within a glorified campfire song. The members elevate the sound through their diverse musical styles, backgrounds and ability to extract a song’s simple emotion.

In 2005, Lander has boasted a song in rotation on Portland’s KINK FM 102, played at the Nike Campus for the Lance Armstrong Foundation, headlined the Buffalo Gap’s annual Gap Fest Music Festival and has frequented a variety of local Portland music venues.

2005 is gone- 2006 has much more in store, including a March release of a full-length debut studio album. With a sound that is choking fans, Lander expects to burst open and achieve great things through song.
