Lane Abernathy

Lane Abernathy

 Nashville, Tennessee, USA

A country boy from Tennessee singing timeless classics rooted in the Blues and Rock & Roll.

Raised on the Blues by a guitar playing dad who spun the likes of the Allman Brothers, James Cotton, and Jimi Hendrix and by a mother who played classics like Fleetwood Mac and Prince while she cleaned, Lane has been surrounded by music since before he was born.

"The blues are were it begins and ends for me," Lane says, "But I love all kinds of music and inevitably it all gets blended together in varying combinations."

Lane grew up in the rolling hills of rural Middle Tennessee in a town of 450 called Bell Buckle. Surrounded by artists of all kinds, free thinkers, and all around oddballs, he learned to do what felt right and respect the world and people around him.
