The artist simply called Lanre' is one of a new breed of inspirational musicians coming out of Nigeria. This soft spoken artist has his roots deep in Ibadan, Oyo state, and it is believed that this might have influenced his album "Ibadan Blues" and singles, “Yewande”, and "Nkan A Se E". He is a man with huge ambitions who believes that whatever he sets out to do, he is bound to be a success.
Lanre has been crazy about music since he was born. But when he was younger, he never dreamed of being a pop star, instead he looked up to his Dad, and wanted to be a Doctor or even one better the "President of Nigeria and the United States" . He always reworked nursery rhymes as a kid and eveything seem to just grow from there.
Educated and holding an MBA and PHD, he sites influences from Sade, Marvin Gaye, the Temptations, Enya, Nirvana, RadioHead, Van Hunt, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Stevie Wonder, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Fela, Ebenezer Obey, King Sunny Ade, Bob Marley, The Pocket Dwellers, Talib Kweli, Biggie Smalls, Tupac Shakur, Dr.Dre, Beethoven, YoYo Ma,New Edition, The Game, Aerosmith, Smokey Robinson and so many others.

Lanre' is determined to participate in the preservation and promotion of his genre of music by blending the past, present and future into his own positive, unique and timeless contribution to the art of positive, musical expression the world over while striving to cultivate a clean heart and a fertile mind.
