Bio

Life's All Over. Think of it in a positive way, and you'll understand a great deal of what this band is about. Life is everywhere. And the band live's by that motto- taking their music and their message all across the country.

L.A.O. is one of Southern California's brightest up-and-coming bands. Their aggressive rock style is fueled by an intense, engaging live show that would be hard to match. An undying, uncompromising passion for music ignites a work ethic that most bands could only dream of having.

After developing a sound all their own and playing over 150 shows throughout the Los Angeles area, L.A.O. hit the road in Jan 2004 and didn't stay put for a whole year. During the next twelve months, the band booked their own tours around the country, and continued to expand their rabid fan-base in Los Angeles. Playing over 200 shows in that time frame, certain members of the band couldn't take the commitment. Those who couldn't were left in the wake, and a solid line-up of die hard's was established. The band, who now consists of Brian Lerner (guitar/founding member) Blake Kasemeier (vocals), Ryan Johnson (guitar), Ty Coughlin (bass), and Jeff Shoup (drums), is ready to work as hard as it takes to get their music out to the masses. Their rapidly growing fan base across the country keeps in close contact with the band via the internet, which just shows the commitment the band and fans have for each other. 2005 looks to be an exciting year for L.A.O. as they release their new EP/DVD "The Honesty Of It All." The band will be touring the US for 4 months this summer, before taking a short rest and doing it all again.

L.A.O. has teamed up with Count It Records for the release of "The Honesty Of It All" - a 6 song EP that includes a DVD packed with live video footage, interviews and more.
