The best kept secret in music
Press
Large Marge’s show at the Whiskey-A-Go-Go on the Sunset Strip was a hit. They packed the house and you could feel the energy building, as the band went. Fans were screaming, waiving, having a ball and that’s what this music is about: The stories of youth and their issues being relayed through upbeat guitar riffs meshed with distinct bass tones and drum beats brought together by lyrics of teen angst, and opinionated sarcasm about the world around them. - Erin Whitcomb
HOLY BUZZ CUTS BATMAN … These guys rock! I recently had the opportunity, nay, the pleasure of reviewing a new Punk band out of L.A.
Who would’ve ever thought three youngsters from Southern California could bring such a mature attitude to such insane music? Large Marge takes Punk to a whole other level, far surpassing such modern bands of the genre as Green Day and Sum 41.
I was impressed with their usage of guitar leads, but not as impressed as I was with the lyrics and harmonies they use in the music they present. Not since the Suicidal Tendencies have I actually put down the headset and just gone, “Like … WOW!” In the spirit of SkyCycle and DK, Large Marge presents an energetic, fun form of the variety.
With my extensive experience in this genus I feel that I’m fully qualified to give an unequivocal 5 stars! They rocked … they rolled … they blew my mind!!!
