"LARIBA- Como lo ves"

... There’s no doubting the talent and the test among their ranks – and they’d make a solid prospect for any festival programmers wanting some Latin sparks in their roster… - SONGLINES

"Lariba"

The nearest comparisons would be Sargento Garcia and Orishas, but there’s a lot more… These guys are good, VERY good! Definitely one of the best surprises of the year!

"Lariba - Como lo ves"

Planqué à l’ombre des coffres forts de la Confédération Helvétique, Lariba réunit quelques experts du groove urbain latin (hip-hop, reggaeton, baile-funk…) et de ses aïeuls (cumbia, son, salsa, batucada, samba…). Originaires de Cuba, du Mexique, du Brésil, d’Italie et de Suisse, ces musiciens dilapident ces grooves ensoleillés avec une touchante générosité et un bel hédonisme... - Mondomix

"Lariba - Como lo ves"

Lariba purvey contemporary multikulti hip-hop, reggaetón, baiao and timba in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and English, with Cuban and Brazilian undertones, recorded and produced in Switzerland. - fRoots

Bio

LARIBA was born in Switzerland at the beginning of the millenium, it features four Cubans, a Sicilan, a Brazilian, and a Swiss. Each one of these musician brings his own musical background and together they create a fresh urban latin sound. In LARIBA powerful rap, Cuban percussions et Brazilian elegance go hand in hand. LARIBA's sound is a colourful one, and also full of surprises... Reggaeton, cumbia, hip-hop, samba-reggae, mariachi, salsa, timba and jazz flow and go together, while verses in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and English make this fusion a very universal one. It is the ideal recipe for those who enjoy the good musical cocktails, its ingredients include nations, instruments, rhythms and joy, the best recipe for good spirit and fiesta!
Their first album “Como lo ves“ was released in 2009 around Europe by ventilador Music, receiving excellent reviews and enabling them to perform abroad... But look out, as they’re already working on the new one!
