Biography

Laroosco’s first incarnation began in Albuquerque New Mexico. In 2004.
The group mixes the deep musical traditions if the American southwest, with the hard-driving sound of Detroit R&B, and blues. It did not take long before their many influences broadened the sound of the band.

Philly Soul meets Freddie King, Roadhouse Rock n Roll meets Rockabilly, are a few ways that the band has been described. At a Laroosco show you can expect to hear burning Chicago blues and Memphis Soul along with Surf, Rockabilly and Country.

The band plays many original songs along with carefully picked cover songs that are sure to be recognized and loved by crowds. Laroosco has played hundreds of shows across the United States and has honed the art of performance to a keen edge.

Lawrence "Laroosco" Daversa is the sole remaining original member of the band. He left New Mexico for Detroit in 2006, and has worked with many artists in the Detroit area. He was a guitarist for the Twistin' Tarantulas from 2007 to 2012, and has played with many other notable Detroit musicians.
