BandFolkAcoustic

I am an accoustic singer/songwriter who sings songs about life and faith. My music tells the stories of people I meet and often reflects personal experiences from my life and journey. You can contact me by email: lcromie@cogeco.ca or by telephone (613) 936-2210

Biography

I grew up influenced greatly by the music of Harry Chapin, who in my opinion was the greatest singer/story-teller we've seen in our day. I also listened to people like Dan Hill, Valdy, and Gordon Lightfoot, who also had much to say with their music and song-writing. My music is a throw back to the days of simple accoustic accompaniment and clear lyrics that tell stories of life and faith. To quote my musical hero, Harry Chapin, I too "Remember when the music came from wooden boxes strung with silver wire..."

I have released two full-length CDs: INSIDE THE BLUR, and my latest CD: WE DANCED IN THE RAIN, recorded live at the Lost Villages, October 2007. Four songs from We Danced In The Rain, and two from Inside The Blur are featured on my audio page. ***I'T'S HERE! MY NEW SINGLE RELEASE: "NO-ONE EVER TOLD ME"***
***COMING IN EARLY NOVEMBER A BRAND NEW CHRISTMAS CD: "HEAVENLY PEACE--an accoustic Christmas"***
