Larry George

Larry George is unique. His song styling and charisma make him one of the challengers for up and coming artist of the year. His personal repertoire of over fifty driving originals performed in sold out solo gigs is complimented by a complex range of contemporary pop, rock, southern rock, country, blues, funk, reggae, and jazz that give him the range to play any room.

George has studied music in a lifetime of performances that began with his family at age six. Twenty-two years later he is prodigious with musical talent that spans everything from guitar to percussion, piano, and the bass. Larry shares his skill as a teacher and producer of other artists.

Acoustic guitar is Larry George's forte. A master of improvisation, he uses original sampling and orchestral effects with slide guitar to stun audiences with a passionate performance every night.
His work has raised thousands of dollars for benefits like “The Susan G Komen Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness”, M.U.S.C Children’s Network, and has done radio work for The Pennsylvania State University Dance Marathon and many others.

Appearances with Tom Petty, The Black Crowes, and The Allman Brothers Band highlight a career of over a thousand performances.

Larry recently appeared in Nicholas Sparks’ movie "Dear John" in a scene playing the guitar and has entertained many movie business luminaries at private affairs. During this time he has met one of his inspirations, Jewel.
