Larry Hammett - is the director of guitar studies at the University of Oklahoma. A recognized expert in both classical and jazz guitar, Hammett is in constant demand to fill both genres as a performer and accompanist. Hammett has been teaching guitar at the college level since 1982 and has one of the most successful guitar programs in the country. As a recording artist for Beat Records, Rome, Italy and Octo Arts, in Quezon City, Philippines, Hammett's recordings are aired worldwide and licensed in the United States through Digital Cable Radio, Music Springs, 3M, and AEI. Hammett gives some 60+ performances annually both as a soloist and with his jazz trio, and has performed and given master-classes in France, Mexico, Argentina, and the United States. Hammett is one of a few guitarist today who lead a successful double life as a jazz and classical performer.
