Bio
Larry Keen, now settled in the moutains west of Denver, got his musical start as one of the most requested acts on the famed "New York Coffee Circuit" which included such acts as Jay Leno, Jim Croce, & Don McClean. After several years of playing to SRO audiences in the East, Larry decided to take his talent to Los Angeles. Larry played the LA "singer/songwriter" circuit as well as performing for eight straight years at the legendary Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, CA. During these years Larry co-founded Cornerstone Recorders, one of LA's premier recording facilities, serving such artists as Fleetwood Mac, Motley Crew, REO Speedwagon, & Don Henley, just to name a few. In 1997 larry moved his family from the hustle bustle of LA to the country life of Summit County , high in the Rocky Mountains where Larry has continued to play to SRO crowds. Whether he is singing an "upbeat rocker" or a heartbreaking ballad, Larry Keen is the embodiment of the comtemporary singer/songwriter.
