Circle of Love

Written By: Patricia Baker/Larry Lauer

Circle of love around my finger,
The little parts of you that linger,
Like the echo of your voice inside my head.

All the nights we’ve spent together,
Hoping the moment lasts forever,
With your arms around me lying there in bed.

Our circle of love,
That’s better with time.
The older we get,
The sweeter the wine.
That never ending,
Ever bending kind.
Our circle of love,
Our circle of love.

Like the first time you whisper my name,
That feeling of falling insane.
Still touches me with all the love you show

In the circle we call our own,
Precious time together in our home.
Half my life with the best part left to go.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
Knowing that our love was the reason,
And all of the changin’ of the seasons.
The little things we never did out grow,
Like those two shining bands of gold.
Repeat Chorus

I Can't Fly

Written By: Larry Lauer/Patricia Baker

Verse1
I’ll never be ten feet tall
Can’t climb skyscraper walls
I don’t have a mask or tights
But I make love to her all night

Verse2
Don’t need to wear a magic cape
I’ll rescue her with my duct tape
I’ll never own a Batmobile
I’m on a roll with eighteen wheels
That’s the best I can do

Chorus
I can’t hold her like Spiderman can
Sure makes me want to try
To pick her up like Superman
Her love lifts me so high
I wear her ring, stand by her side
I’m just an average guy…
And I can’t fly…

Verse3
I’ll never own a laser gun
Wouldn’t know what to do with one
She makes me be the best I can
Blue collar hero kinda man

Verse4
I can’t transform into the Hulk
I drive an old Ford pickup truck
She’s not a damsel in distress
I’ll watch her back in that black dress
That’s the best I can do

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
Maybe, my love can be her claim to fame,
The way that Superman was to Lois Lane.

Repeat verse 1 & 2
Repeat chorus

The Moon Winked At Me

Written By: Larry Lauer

chorus
I saw the moon wink at me last night
Sittin' on our porch in the fading light
Knowing you were right inside
Soon I'd be by your bedside
The moon winked at me last night
verse1
Since the first time we met I knew
That love could be real and true
Everyday we spent apart
The stronger that it made our hearts
Never again to feel blue
chorus
I saw the moon wink at me last night
Sittin' on our porch in the fading light
Knowing you were right inside
Soon I'd be by your bedside
The moon winked at me last night
verse2
Now at the end of the working day
We talk and let the time slip away
Holding hands like two young kids
We're older now and still like to kiss
Together now, together we'll stay
chorus
I saw the moon wink at me last night
Sittin' on our porch in the fading light
Knowing you were right inside
Soon I'd be by your bedside
The moon winked at me last night
bridge
That old moon hanging up there
Never looked so fine
Seems like he knew all along
That she would be mine
chorus
I saw the moon wink at me last night
Sittin' on our porch in the fading light
Knowing you were right inside
Soon I'd be by your bedside
The moon winked at me last night - (repeat last line)
