Feeling a bit camera shy

Larry Stevens (Larry) is a gregarious front man/artist, who has been writing, performing, and playing with his own band for over a decade. Currently living in the North East, Larry has co-written with some of the best songwriters in the country and has crafted himself into a well-rounded singer/songwriter and performer.

Originally from New Jersey, Larry has performed at many outdoor town concerts, played numerous clubs and bars throughout the country, and has opened with and shared the stage with a variety of major recording stars. His credits include: performing with Peter Frampton and the Doobie Brothers at the Quick Chek Festival of Ballooning, opening for Zebra at the Meadowlands’ State Fair, mainstaging at the Guy Molinari’s Summer Starlite Concert Series at South Beach (Staten Island, NY), and performing with artists such as Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Dreamworks’, Jessica Andrews, and Steve Forbert. Larry has also rocked New York’s most famous live music hotspot, The Bitter End, and the legendary, Blue Bird Café, in Nashville, TN.

Larry has just completed his new CD, “Heart of a Fighter,” an eclectic mix of rock and roll, pop, and country sounds. Using his expertise in songwriting and performing, Larry has pulled from all genres of music to create a collection of songs filled with heartfelt lyrics, unique percussive grooves, and fun upbeat sounds that make a listener smile.

“ ‘Heart of the Fighter’ is about my musical journey. Each song is a like a mini movie, where my audience is able to visualize a moment or feeling in my life. I blend my real life situations and experiences with upbeat melodies and tight musical grooves, to allow the audience to see and connect with me as a man and performer.” – Larry Stevens
