Bio
Larry Chorowski entered the world of the singer/songwriter in 2009 with his first home recording. His songs are a personal reflection of a Brooklyn Jew raised by concentration camp survivors, now raising his own family on Long Island, New York. Influences include Jethro Tull, Richard Thompson/Fairport Convention, Richard Shindell, Beatles and REM.
Larry and his family have been members of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Huntington for fifteen years. He has performed in many Sunday services, and he is a regular open mike performer at The Last Licks Cafe (http://www.lastlickscafe.org), a coffeehouse Larry and partner Gerald Moss created in 2003 for the Fellowship on the last Saturday the month from September through May. Larry looks to broaden his musical horizons while maintaining his own voice that uniquely resonates with listeners.
