Las Coronelas perform over 200 shows a year, recent clients include James Avery, Ken Bachelor, The Texas Film Hall of Fame Awards, Film Director Robert Rodriguez, Holland Taylor (star of Two and a Half Men), Lackland AFB, Nuclear Collision Convention, American Bankers Association, Houston Stock Show and Rodeo and many more! With their recent invitation to tour in Vancouver, Canada and surrounding cities in 2011, Las Coronelas are quickly sharing the beauty and tradition of Mariachi music with the world! Mariachi Las Coronelas is an all-female ensemble comprised of the finest musicians that perform a high energy show with diversified repertoire while staying true to the essence of mariachi. With crowd pleasing favorites like Somos Novios, La Malaguena and even the Devil Went Down to Georgia!!! Founded by Vanessa Del Fierro, who is already recognized as a top representative for the Latino music of San Antonio, took the time to carefully handpick the women specifically to generate an ensemble like no other! Vanessa alone has plenty of experience as a musician and a performer and is recognized nationally through her appearances on several Television shows on Univision and Telemundo and was chosen by Emilio Estefan from over 25,000 people all around the world to perform on Nuevas Voces de America, a hit T.V. show in Miami. Vanessa has had many opportunities to into other genres such as pop, regional mexican, salsa and cumbia and was even nominated for the Premios a La Musica Latina as a cumbia artist, but always stays true to her passion, Mariachi. Now, Las Coronelas continue on their journey to conquer the hearts of music lovers all around and to keep the beautiful tradition of Mariachi alive and growing!
