Las Migas

Las Migas

BandWorld

Do they sound as a flamenco band? More than any other genre, of course. But their music stands at the crossroad of the most heterodox sounds. Their roots are flamenco, but they add echoes of the gypsy and the latin and most of all, the Mediterranean.

Biography

Since the beginning of their join venture they have been known as a band capable of filling large theaters, as a band also that stands out at the major world music festivals.

In May 2012 Las Migas release their sencond album (Chesapik 2012) produced by Raúl Rodríguez , founder of the band “Son de la Frontera”.

Are they purely a flamenco band? Predominantly, of course. But their music stands at the crossroads of the most unorthodox sounds. Whilst their roots are undiluted flamenco their eclectic melange of influences adds echoes of gypsy, latin and most of all the Mediterranean. Las Migas are simply unique in their sound.

Based in Barcelona, Las Migas are Isabelle Laudenbach and Marta Robles on guitars, Lisa Bause on violin and Alba Carmona on vocals.

Las Migas live in concert will perform their brand new show, which is more flamenco than ever!
