Last American Buffalo- influenced and reminiscent of such talented acts as The Beatles, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, The Killers, & Coldplay- formed in May 2006 in Los Angeles, California. Enjoying great success in local Hollywood and Los Angeles venues, the band delivered many energetic and memorable live performances. Last American Buffalo's fresh song-writing, charm and animated live shows instantly won them a supportive and consistent fan base. In order to assuage the demand for their music, the band embarked on recording sessions at Hollywood's Conway Studios and Westlake Audio in early 2007.
Upon completion of their debut album, "Marquis For The Debutante," the guys took their show on the road, booking venues and personally managing an ambitious West Cost tour stretching from Ensenada, Mexico all the way to Seattle, Washington. The road veterans, eager to resume the song-writing process, began pre-production and recording for a new five song EP that is scheduled for release in Spring 2008.
In the mean time, the band has taken a serious role as their own business managers. Seeking to maintain as much control of their creative work as possible, Kevin (Vocals, Guitars) , Brian (Organ, Keys), Jesse (Vocals, Guitars), and Jesse (Drums) not only write, record and perform their music, but they also carry out a long list of business operations for the band. Some duties involved: Local and regional booking, promotion, artwork, web-design, marketing, finances, continual education, networking, scheduling, fund development, distribution, etc.
From press releases and digital distribution to radio airplay and main-stream television placements, the band has honed in on some of the most crucial components for survival and success in a dense, confusing, and cut-throat music market.
