Last Majority

Last Majority is an intense new rock band from the Westchester / NYC area. This is a band that gives 110% at all times to its fans and offers an amazing live show. Last Majority was formed in October of 2010 by Joe Dickson and Will Von Helms in Westchester, NY. Joe and Will had both left other projects and where hungry to start a new band that was ready to take things to the next level. In order to do that, they needed find two other musicians who shared their passion for music. While Joe and Will were meeting several times a week writing new songs, they actively searched for a drummer. After several auditions, no shows and ego's. Mike "The Brain" Schmitt came to the studio after returning from a cross country R.V. Trip. He quickly knocked off the rust and dominated his drums!! Joe and Will knew that Mike was the drummer for L.M. His dedication and technical skills in the studio have made L.M. move even faster in the direction they were looking to go. Now with Drum tracks over Joe and Will's 18 songs, one thing was left. The guys started a Searching for a vocalist/guitar player. The same problems they encountered will looking for a drummer resurfaced in their search for a lead singer. Then one day Will received a response to his Cragislist post from Ryan Goodrich, who had recently moved to NYC from the Chicago area. Will shared the demo that Ryan had sent with Joe and Mike. Though it was southern folk, the three knew Ryan had the vocal sound they where looking for. Minutes into his audition the guys knew Ryan was the man for the job. Now with their demo complete Last Majority is hitting the road to rock the live scene. All of our songs were recorded and mixed by Mike "the Brain" Schmitt
