"RockAngel's Weekly Radar"

This week, RockAngelÕs Weekly Radar brings you Last NightÕs ViceÉthe best thing out of Missouri sinceÉumÉok, the best thing out of MissouriÉperiod.
Last NightÕs Vice is unsigned, and weighs in at less than 4,000 MySpace friends, which means they may be one of the most hidden jewels in rock music out there. I like to refer to their music as Òsour apple Pop Rocks candy for your earsÓÉlet that image sit for a minuteÉ
Not only do they have a kickass name, their music literally picks you up out of your seat and makes you jump around like a crazy teenage girl at a New Kids concertÉor maybe thatÕs just me. Either way, there is no denying the energy in their music which fuses sounds of Head Automatica, The Used, and Fall Out Boy. ÒThe Power CosmicÓ could become a hit radio single faster than an Amy Winehouse relapse and ÒAll IÓ would be a valiant follow-up.
Their live show has been raved about, and I can only imagine, as they havenÕt made it out to San Diego yet. They do have plans to hit some of the Warped Tour on the east coast, so be sure to check them out if you have the chance. I have a feeling this is one of those bands that is gonna reach a tipping point and when they hit, theyÕre going to hit hard and fastÉjust like their music.

Bio

Last Nights Vice is St. Louis's most up and coming rock band. They're creating a buzz with innovative marketing campaigns, high-energy performances, and an extreme work ethic.

They've played shows with national artists like 30 Seconds to Mars, Thrice, Manchester Orchestra, Story of the Year, Fall Out Boy, Foxy Shazam, Bowling For Soup, Family Force Five, Hawthorne Heights, A Change of Pace, Men, Women and Children, Lorene Drive, Violent Soho, Bedouin Soundclash, Calico System, Bad Rabbits, as well as a multiple stints of the Vans Warped Tour.

Driving through Downtown St. Louis you'll see 3'x4' posters pasted to electric boxes and 1000's of full color postcards stuck under windshield wipers. You'll hear their songs on the radio (105.7FM, 93X FM, KMOX, & iChannel.fm) and their voices out of megaphones at movie theaters and amusement parks.

Ticketmaster's New Music Spotlight recognizes LNV as a band that "commands the stage like rockstars."

LNV is home to the soulful and powerfully-driven voice of Brandon House. Joe Fitzsimmons and Jordan Phoenix push guitars with noisy effects influenced by blues riffs while playing over the hip-thumpin' rhythm section of Chris Blake's bass and Andrew Ghiassi's drums. Together, the band gets you off your ass and keeps you dancing. "Funk is smeared all over these guys, it drips from them like sweat, its hard to understand how these white boys fell into such a funky sound, but they do it with precision and soul!" - STLUniverse Review

They've recently filmed a music video with Director AJ Meadows. The band's first full length album "Perfect Little Noise" hits stores August 31st.
