I would like to take the time to express what a treat it was to have “Last One Picked” play at our venue last month.
Last year we had them come and fill a one night spot for us, just to see how they were. They were great sports and traveled all the way up north just to play that one night which was a Sunday…not the busiest night of the week for us, but after they started playing, patrons were calling their friends to come down. After that night all I heard was “when are you bringing them back?” So we did and haven’t regretted it. They are very professional to work with but more important they are respectful of how we do business here. This I find is a rare trait amongst a lot of entertainers.
We at The Mill Casino and Warehouse 101 enjoyed their music, talent and personalities and we can’t wait to be able to book them again. I highly recommend “Last One Picked” for your venue.

"Strangers & Consequences" by Last One Picked brings back that raw 90s Americana Rock sound we've been missing for so many years. Each song on the album has an upbeat and fun sing-a-long feel, twangy melodic guitars, and a solid rhythm section to keep your foot tapping. The musicianship on the CD is totally professional. The lead vocalist, Chip Johnson, has a similar timbre in his voice to Adam Duritz from Counting Crows, and delivers honesty and the right amount of energy to make the songs work. The horn section on certain tracks, adds a nice depth to the music. The track that stands out the most "Nothing At All" catches you from the start with a contagious guitar progression and a unique chorus hook. The production is very clean, which allows each instrument of this tight band, to stand out in the recording. If you enjoy bands such as Counting Crows you'll enjoy this CD.

LAST ONE PICKED is about music, friends and fun. We bring life to any room we play. Whether you're looking for an original roots rock act or a high energy bar band to get the customers on the dance floor, our quality and professionalism shines through every time we play.
Live music is supposed to be fun. That's why when you see Last One Picked you are drawn into our enthusiasm, because we truly love what we do. This energy becomes contagious and before long everyone joins the party; singing along and becoming part of the action.
Our original material is raucous and energetic. The cover material we play is almost too varied to describe. Sure, we're a rock band. There's no doubt about that. But what people don't expect is that we effortlessly move from The Rolling Stones to Tom Petty to Britney Spears to Queen to AC/DC to Wham. It's fun. It's unexpected and people absolutely love it.
In 2007, we released our first CD of Original music, "Strangers & Consequences". This 12 song effort, available on iTunes or at our website, showcases the talent of the four members of the band as well as the songwriting and story telling our fans love. Our 2nd CD is now in production.
