Biography

In early 2006, Last Place came onto the scene with nothing but a burning passion for God and a desire to reach out to His children through music. Over the past year, the group has expanded from a ragtag team of christian musicians, to a full blown ministry that is completly cosumed with a love for worship and servitude.
Every member brings something unique to the style of Last Place because of very diverse influences such as dcTalk, Steven Curtis Chapman, Beach Boys, Garth Brooks, Pillar, Paramore, The Killers, Rascal Flatts, and Project 86. Last Place continues to grow it's repertoire, most often with originals, by adding a song each week.
By combining hard rock with swift acoustic tones, and heart felt three part harmonies, Last Place creates a style all their own. Ranging from peaceful piano parts to head-banging guitar solos, Last Place has something for everyone.
The concept for Last Place comes from Philippians 2:1-11, and the ideal that the heart, mind, and lifestyle should resemble that of Christ. God first, others second, and self last.
